Membership

Rotary Membership:

The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
High ethical standards in business and professions;
The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;

The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.

The Rotary 4-Way Test of the things we think, say or do:
Is it the Truth?
Is it fair to all concerned?
Will it build good will and better friendship?
Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

If you subscribe to these ideals and have a desire to serve, please join us for a Complimentary Lunch to determine if you would like to join Rotary. If you have done this and are interested in applying for membership to our club, please download our membership application here and return it with your next visit.

Membership with the Rotary Club of Chicago - Financial District includes weekly lunches at 12:10 p.m. on Thursdays at the Union League Club - 65 W. Jackson, Chicago, Illinois. The club is regularly engaged in volunteering, fundraising and social activities. While membership does not require your participation in all events, the more you participate the more you will enjoy Rotary. By being a member of a Rotary club, you have the opportunity to visit and "make-up" meetings at any of the 32,000 clubs and their 1.3 million members around the globe.

If you have questions about Rotary, please contact us or visit Rotary International's website at rotary.org
